HOW TO REACH US?
The island of Krk is the closest island to Central and Western Europe. It is connected to the mainland by a bridge. The island has an airport that can accommodate international flights of large capacity aircraft.
The island is 30 km from Rijeka and the railway station from where daily trains depart for Italy, Austria, Germany and Hungary. There are also daily buses from Rijeka to Trieste, München, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Budapest, Zürich, Köln and other European capitals.
The island is 80 km from Postojna, where the highway starts, connecting the island with the network of European highways via Karavanke. From Rijeka to Zagreb and further to the Hungarian border, a modern semi-autobahn has been built, which significantly shortens the journey for potential guests from Central and Eastern Europe.
In Rijeka, 30 km away, there is a port with a passenger terminal from which daily ships depart for Dalmatia and Greece. There is also a permanent customs service and the administration of the harbor master's office, so the arrival and reception of all types of foreign-flagged tourist vessels is possible at any time.
The island of Krk has one of the largest marinas in Croatia with accompanying services, and it is located in the well-protected bay of Punat.
