Šurlice Festival -Gastro event

From 18 to 21 June 2026, Punat will celebrate šurlice, one of the most recognizable symbols of the island’s culinary heritage.

The event brings together Punat’s restaurants and taverns, whose creative dishes will showcase why šurlice are an essential part of the gastronomic traditions of Krk Island.

A special highlight of this year’s festival will be a live presentation of handmade šurlice preparation and a tasting of various sauces, taking place on 18 June at 12:00 PM at the Square of Gratitude (Trg zahvalnosti).

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the craftsmanship behind this traditional pasta and experience its authentic flavours.

The festival is organized as part of the Krk Made gastro project and the Kvarner – European Region of Gastronomy programme, promoting local heritage, indigenous ingredients, and the outstanding gastronomic offer of Krk Island.
