Krk Bike Story 2020
Join us for three exciting cycling stories, brought to you under the already recognizable name Krk Bike Story.
The three rides, called
- Family Story,
- Romantic Story and
- Adrenaline Story will,
with prior registration, be held free of charge during the next three Sundays of June.
The Family Story will be held on June 14 and is intended for families with children, beginners and recreational riders. The tour is 18 kilometers long and takes the route Baška - Zarok - Batomalj - Draga Bašćanska - Sveta Lucija - Batomalj - Zarok - Kricin. The start and finish is in front of the Heritage Hotel Forza, with guided stretching for participants before the start, and includes a visit to the aquarium after the bike ride.
The Romantic Story is scheduled for June 21. Although a bit more demanding than the Family Story, this 38-kilometer tour is still suitable for beginners and recreationists. The route is ideal for couples and includes a visit to the Kornić Ethno House, a tasting of Vrbnik žlahtina wine and a relaxing ride by the sea. The route is Krk - Kornić - Vrbnik - Punat - Krk. The start and finish is Krk's waterfront, by the sundial.
The Adrenaline Story is the most demanding out of our three cycling stories and it will take place on June 28 along the route Njivice - Omišalj - Dubova staza - Kapelica Kod Magriža - Biserujka - Sužan - Crkva Sv Petra kod Gabonjina - Turčić - Malinska - Rajski put - Njivice. This tour is 50 kilometers long, with a total ascent of 850 m, and is ideal for cycling recreationists who are looking for more of a challenge, but also want to enjoy the natural and cultural beauties of Krk Island. The start and finish is the pier in Njivice.
Krk Bike Story promotional packages are tailored to the guest, and each tour includes additional cultural and gastronomic content to complete the tourist and holiday experience.
To ensure a comfortable and safe ride for all participants, the number is limited to a maximum of 50 registered per tour.
