Folklore Evening

We invite you to a Folklore Evening that will take place on 12 August 2026 at 21:00 in the centre of Punat. Enjoy the richness of Croatian traditional culture through the performance of the Punat Cultural and Artistic Society (KUD Punat), which will present a variety of dances and music from all regions of Croatia.

KUD Punat has been active since 1973 and proudly preserves folk customs, songs, and dances, with a special emphasis on the traditions of the island of Krk. Their performance of the Krk dance, accompanied by the authentic sounds of the sopile, stands out for its originality and energy. Over the years, the society has performed at numerous national and international festivals, promoting Croatian cultural heritage throughout the world, from Europe to South America and Asia.
