Folklore evening

We warmly invite you to an evening of folklore, taking place on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, at 9:00 PM in the center of Punat.

Enjoy the richness of Croatian traditional culture through the performance of the Cultural and Artistic Society "KUD Punat," showcasing folk dances and music from across the country.

Founded in 1973, KUD Punat proudly preserves and promotes traditional customs, songs, and dances, with a special focus on the heritage of the island of Krk. Their performance of the Krčki tanc (Krk dance), accompanied by the distinctive sound of sopile – unique traditional instruments – is particularly known for its authenticity and lively spirit. Over the years, the ensemble has performed at numerous festivals both in Croatia and abroad, representing Croatian cultural heritage across Europe, South America and Asia.
