Children's play

The children's play "Lies Have Short Legs" will be performed on Friday, 3 July 2026, starting at 20:00, in the courtyard of the Municipality of Punat.

We invite all children and their parents to enjoy the entertaining and educational puppet and live-action performance "Lies Have Short Legs", intended for preschool and primary school children.

The main character, Tibor, is a young boy with a vivid imagination who loves making up incredible stories. But as the old saying goes - lies have short legs. When his imaginary tales suddenly come to life, Tibor finds himself in a strange world filled with a giant butterfly, a crocosaur, a giant pea and many other fantastic creatures. Although magical, this world soon frightens him, helping him realize the importance of telling the truth.

Through humor, puppets, music and engaging stage scenes, the performance conveys an important message about honesty, responsibility and the power of children's imagination in a fun and accessible way.
