Barufe va dragi

Dear residents, visitors, and all lovers of good fun,

We invite you to join us for a unique and cheerful competition – Barufe va Dragi 2025, which will take place on the Punćale waterfront in Punat! This colorful event traditionally brings together three teams from Punat and neighboring villages, all in the spirit of community and camaraderie.

Starting from 5:30 PM, all participants will gather at the competition venue, and the games will begin at 7:00 PM, bringing nine lively and humorous challenges on land and at sea – such as beer diving, paddle boat races, relay swimming, sack races, and the traditional tug-of-war!

Each game earns points, and strategy, skill, and team spirit will determine which team takes home the winner’s title! In case of a tie – we’re ready for a bonus “barufa”: singing for the audience!

After the games and the announcement of the winners, the fun continues with live music by the band “Insula” and DJ Kvatro, who will keep the party going on the waterfront.
