Wine festival IN VINO VERITAS
The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Punat proudly announces the fifth edition of the wine festival IN VINO VERITAS, which will take place from June 4 to June 6, 2026, at Trg zahvalnosti in Punat.
During three days dedicated to enjoying the finest wines of the Kvarner region, visitors can look forward to a rich program featuring entertaining evening events, appearances by award-winning winemakers, and tastings of indigenous grape varieties. The festival brings together renowned winemakers from Vrbnik, Novi Vinodolski, and the wider Kvarner area, all with the goal of promoting the Kvarner wine scene and celebrating the exceptional flavors of local vineyards.
FESTIVAL PROGRAM
THURSDAY, JUNE 4
6:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Trg zahvalnosti
7:00 PM, Trg zahvalnosti – Official opening ceremony of the festival and welcome toast, with introductory speeches by the hosts and organizers: Daniel Strčić, Mayor of the Municipality of Punat, Branko Karabaić, Director of the Punat Tourist Board and Žarko Stilin, Manager of the Association of Kvarner Wines
7:15 PM – Presentation and tasting of the traditional forgotten dish “fried polenta with anchovies”, prepared by Antonija Mikac (Tonkine fritule)
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Entertainment program featuring klapa groups INTRIGA & RAŠKETA
9:00 PM – Entertainment programme in the marquee by the waterfront featuring Infinity Bend
FRIDAY, JUNE 5
6:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Trg zahvalnosti
5:00 PM, Restaurant “PUNTO” – Workshop and tasting of award-winning wines from PZ Vrbnik led by Kristian Volarić.
