Folklore evening- FG Punat

We invite you to a Folklore Evening on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 9:00 PM in the Punta Centre.

This is a unique opportunity to experience the beauty and diversity of Croatian traditional culture through a performance by the Punat Cultural and Artistic Society (KUD Punat), featuring traditional songs, dances, and customs from various regions of Croatia.

Founded in 1973, KUD Punat has been dedicated for decades to preserving and promoting Croatia's rich folkloric heritage. Special emphasis is placed on the traditions of the island of Krk, including the distinctive Krk folk dance (Krčki tanac), accompanied by the authentic sound of the traditional sopile, whose unique melodies give every performance its special character.

Over the years, the society has participated in numerous folklore festivals, cultural events, and performances both in Croatia and abroad, proudly presenting Croatian traditional culture and customs.
